Plan a trip to visit the alpacas and whilst here try one of our ice creams made with real fruit.

They are truly yummy!

Flavours include banana, raspberry, blueberry,plus we've added macadamia and kit kat.

Yes its hard to believe but Elvis visited us and he was so in love with the alpacas. So much so that he is coming back again in January. We will have a lovely lot of new things for him to look at and while viewing the alpacas he can have one of our real fruit ice creams.Cause he loves that too! So if you are in town for the Elvis Festival come on out to the Alpaca Country Shop......but why wait until January come out and try an ice cream today!

Looking for the best way to keep your feet warm. We now have alpaca slippers in stock. Made from all alpaca with a brown sole. Just right to be cosy in.

Check out this lot of dyed 5ply yarn. Its been multi dyed by hand and hasnt it come up great! Its lots of fun dyeing and playing with the many different colour combinations. I am working on a dyeing workshop for next year, using both natural and commercials dyes. Will be lots of fun too.

Today another workshop was held, and I thought I would share some of the great work my students did. Each of the ladies began their scarves with an idea in mind only to be surprised by the end result. They certainly were pleased with the outcome and all said they can't wait to wear them.
It was a fun and relaxed day and everyone went home happy and wanting to come back to do some more for Christmas gifts.

How exciting is this? My our very own blog page. This means I can keep you all up to date with all thats happening here at Alpaca Country Shop. We are always doing something exciting and there is always something happening so this will give me a chance to keep you informed. As many of you who have visited our shop know that it is a great place to visit, the total alpaca experience. And that we have lots of wonderful items. At present we are awaiting lots of new stock and I will let you know when each package arrives. All very exciting. As this is my first attempt at my blog I will get this loaded and see what happens.......so stay tuned for more news!
